Eric Miles übernimmt das Ruder bei Baker Tilly

Nach der Fusion mit Moss Adams steht die Beratungs- und Prüfungsgesellschaft nun unter neuer Führung.

Wechsel mit Ansage

Die Nachfolge war seit Juni bekannt, jetzt ist sie vollzogen: Eric Miles hat den CEO-Posten bei Baker Tilly angetreten. Er löst Jeff Ferro ab, der die führende Advisory-, Tax- und Assurance-Gesellschaft durch die Fusion mit Moss Adams geführt hatte. Ferro verabschiedet sich nicht komplett, sondern wechselt in das Board of Directors der Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP.

Vom Prüfer zum Firmenchef

Miles blickt auf fast drei Jahrzehnte Branchenerfahrung zurück. 1997 begann er seine Laufbahn in der Wirtschaftsprüfung und durchlief Stationen in Operations, Compliance, Accounting, Information Technology und Fraud Prevention. Bei Moss Adams übernahm er die Leitung der Consulting Services Organisation mit über 50 Practice Areas und stieg schließlich zum CEO auf.

Klare Agenda für die Zukunft

Konkret will Miles Strategie und operatives Geschäft enger verzahnen. Die Gesellschaft soll skalieren, ohne ihre Kultur und hohen Servicestandards zu verwässern.

Sein Vorgänger Ferro zeigte sich überzeugt: „For more than 20 years, Eric has delivered exceptional leadership.
